View Detailed ComparisonMeal kit companies offer their best discounts to attract new customers. Here's how switching can save you money.
New customers typically receive 50-60% off their first boxes. Many services offer additional weeks of discounts, making your first month extremely affordable.
By rotating between different meal kit services, you can always be a "new customer" somewhere. This means you'll constantly access introductory pricing instead of regular rates.
Switching services lets you experience different cuisines, cooking styles, and meal options. You'll discover new favorite recipes while saving money.
Meal kits save you grocery shopping time while discounts save you money. The switching strategy maximizes both benefits without sacrificing quality.
After you've switched away, meal kit companies often send you "come back" offers with additional discounts. You can cycle through services multiple times with savings each time.
We compare all the latest deals and discounts across top meal kit services, so you always know where to find the best savings right now.
Follow these simple steps to maximize your meal kit savings year-round.
Choose one of our recommended meal kit services with the best current deal. Sign up as a new customer to access their introductory discount, typically up to 100% off your first boxes.
View Current DealsUse your new customer discount for the entire promotional period (usually 2-4 weeks). During this time, you'll enjoy restaurant-quality meals at a fraction of the regular cost.
Before the promotional period ends, cancel your subscription. Don't worry - you can pause or cancel anytime online, usually in just a few clicks. You've already saved money and enjoyed great meals.
Move to a different meal kit service that's currently offering the best deal. You'll be a new customer again, unlocking fresh discounts. With 4+ top services available, you can rotate indefinitely.
Compare All ServicesContinue switching between services. After some time away, you may even receive "win-back" offers from previous services with new discounts. The cycle of savings never ends!
Pro Tip: Keep track of which services you've used and when. After 3-6 months, you may be eligible for "new customer" status again at the same service.
Here's how much you could save by following the switching strategy:
Everything you need to know about switching meal kit services to save money.
Absolutely! Meal kit companies offer new customer discounts as a standard business practice. They expect customers to take advantage of these offers. Canceling a subscription is a normal part of using meal kit services, and there's nothing wrong with switching to find better deals. It's no different from shopping around for the best price on any other product or service.
Savings vary, but most people save £200-£300+ per year. With typical new customer discounts of up to 100% off for 2-4 weeks, you're saving roughly £15-£25 per box compared to regular pricing. If you switch between 3-4 services throughout the year, these savings add up significantly. Some savvy switchers save even more by timing their switches with special promotions.
Usually not. Each meal kit service tracks "new customers" independently, so you can use the same email address when switching between different companies. However, if you want to return to a service you've used before, you may need to wait several months or use a different email address, depending on their policy. Some services allow you to be a "new customer" again after a certain period.
No, it's typically very easy. Most meal kit services allow you to cancel directly through your account dashboard online. The process usually takes just a few clicks. Some services may offer you a discount to stay, which you can accept or decline. There are no penalties for canceling, and you can cancel at any time - even right after signing up if you only want the introductory boxes.
Not at all! Most meal kit services allow you to keep the recipe cards even after you cancel. You can recreate your favorite meals at home using regular groceries. Many services also publish their recipes online. Additionally, since you can switch back to services later, you'll have opportunities to order your favorites again with new discounts.
That's exactly what we do! We continuously monitor all the top meal kit services and update our site with the latest deals and discounts. Check our homepage for current offers, or visit our comparison page to see all services side-by-side. We show you the exact savings, discount percentages, and promotional periods so you can make an informed decision.
That's perfectly fine! The switching strategy is flexible. If you find a service you love and they're offering additional discounts to keep you, you can absolutely stay longer. The strategy is about maximizing savings - if staying works better for you, go for it. You can always switch later when you're ready or when another service offers an exceptional deal.
The main consideration is that you'll need to cancel subscriptions and sign up for new ones, which takes a few minutes each time. Some people find it slightly inconvenient, but the savings usually make it worth it. You'll also experience different packaging styles and recipes as you switch, which some see as a positive (more variety) while others might prefer consistency. Overall, the benefits far outweigh the minor inconveniences.
